Econometrics for Finance at NISM

It's has been almost three weeks since I posted . My aplogies to the readers and my friends.

1. I am eagerly looking forward to attending Econometrics program at NISM, a prestigious institute by SEBI.
2. Presently I find Chris Brooks book on econometrics interesting.
I look forward to post some interesting notes on the econometrics workshop in the coming days.

Dear Prof.,

NAMASTÊ!

Nice to see you're back!

Econometrics are an interesting field of study - but I really don't rely on any of its models for trading - directional trading. I believe one can find aplications for them in portfolio management. As a futures trader, I use what we call "Econometrics Of Tape Reading", a proprietary name for proprietary research.

Bill Rafter, Spec List author and owner of Mathematical Investment Decisions once told me we really don't need fancy math in order to trade the markets.

I believe the knowledge of Victor Niederhoffer and Larry Williams are more useful in this matter.
